Step 6: Prices, Packages, Products, Papers, Digital Download Pricing

INDIVIDUAL FORMATS/PRICING

First, we are going to set up the pricing for purchases of individual formats (Al-a-carte). Note: you can set up groups of format pricing for different clients: wedding, seniors, boudior, etc.

CREATE THE GROUP

  1. Click "Price"
  2. Select the "Al-a-carte" tab
  3. Click "New" at the bottom
  4. Title the group of formats - (Hint: decide if this is for your wedding, senior, or boudoir clients)
  5. Click "Save"

NOTE: the group should appear in the left panel.

ADD THE FORMATS/PRICING

  1. Click on the group in the left panel
  2. Click "New" at the bottom of the right panel - we are going to start adding formats to this group
  3. Type a "Print Title" - (Hint:we recommend using the dimensions like 4x6 or canvas 20x20.)
  4. Type in the "Print Width" and Print height" (Hint 4, 6)

    NOTE: the width and height setting will be what determines the aspect ratio for the cropping tool.  The print title is strictly text only and we do not parse the title for aspect ratios.

  5. Type in a number for the "Print Price" (Hint: for $10.00 type "10")
  6. You can type an additional number if you would like to add a fee for shipping for that item (optional)
  7. Click "Save"

 

Repeat steps 2-6 to add additional formats

 

HINT: You can now start at step one to create additional client pricing groups like Seniors or Boudoir.

 

CREATE PACKAGES

CREATE THE GROUP

  1. Click "Price"
  2. Select the "Packages" tab
  3. Click "New" at the bottom
  4. Title the group of packages - (Hint: decide if this is for your wedding, senior, or boudoir clients)
  5. Click "Save"

NOTE: the group should appear in the left panel.

CREATE THE PACKAGE

  1. Click on the group in the left panel
  2. Click "New" at the bottom of the right panel - we are going to add a package
  3. Type a "Package Title" (Hint: the "Silver package")
  4. Click "Upload New" to upload and image for this package (Hint: upload a JPG around 1000 pixels wide -saved for web)
  5. Type a "Package Price"
  6. Type a "Shipping Cost" if there is one
  7. Type a "Description" for this package

    NOTE: the description is optional.  If you do not supply a description, we will auto-fill it with a listing of any line items/ formats you add in the next step.

  8. Click "Save"

ADD FORMATS TO THIS PACKAGE

  1. Select the new package in the right panel
  2. Click "Prints & Formats" at the bottom of the panel
  3. Click "New" to start adding formats
  4. Type a "Print Title" - (Hint:we recommend using the dimensions like 4x6 or canvas 20x20.)
  5. Type a quantity (For example: if you offer three 4x6 images in this package, then type "3")
  6. Type in the "Print Width" and "Print height" (Hint 4, 6)

  7. Click "Save"

Repeat steps 3-6 to add more formats to this package

 

 

CREATE PRODUCTS

CREATE THE GROUP

  1. Click "Price"
  2. Select the "Products" tab
  3. Click "New" at the bottom
  4. Title the group of packages - (Hint: decide if this is for your wedding, senior, or boudoir clients)
  5. Click "Save"

NOTE: the group should appear in the left panel.

CREATE THE PACKAGE

  1. Click on the group in the left panel
  2. Click "New" at the bottom of the right panel - we are going to add product
  3. Type a "Product Title" (Hint: a "Calendar")
  4. Click "Upload New" to upload and image for this package (Hint: upload a JPG around 1000 pixels wide -saved for web)
  5. Type a "Product Price"
  6. Type a "Shipping Cost" if there is one
  7. Type a "Description" for this package

    NOTE: the description is optional.  If you do not supply a description, we will auto-fill it with a listing of any line items/ formats you add in the next step.

  8. Click "Save"

ADD FORMATS TO THIS PRODUCT

If this were a calendar, we would add one image for every month and a cover image.

  1. Select the new product in the right panel
  2. Click "Prints & Formats" at the bottom of the panel
  3. Click "New" to start adding formats
  4. Type a "Print Title" - (Hint:Type January)
  5. Type a quantity (If this is a calendar and it is the January image, you only need one)
  6. Type in the "Print Width" and "Print height"

    NOTE: the width and height setting will be what determines the aspect ratio for the cropping tool.  The print title is strictly text only and we do not parse the title for aspect ratios.

  7. Click "Save"

Repeat steps 3-6 to add more formats to this package

 

 

PAPERS

CREATE THE GROUP

  1. Click "Price"
  2. Select the "Papers" tab
  3. Click "New" at the bottom
  4. Title the group of papers - (Hint: decide if this is for your wedding, senior, or boudoir clients)
  5. Click "Save"

NOTE: the group should appear in the left panel.

ADD THE PAPER TYPES/PRICING

  1. Click on the group in the left panel
  2. Click "New" at the bottom of the right panel - we are going to start adding papers to this group
  3. Type a "Paper Title" - (Hint: Glossy, Matte, etc.)
  4. Type in a number for the "Price" (Hint: for $10.00 type "10")
  5. You can type an additional number if you would like to add a fee for shipping for that item (optional)
  6. Click "Save"

Repeat steps 2-6 to add additional Papers

 

DIGITAL DOWNLOADS

CREATE THE GROUP

  1. Click "Price"
  2. Select the "Digital Downloads" tab
  3. Click "New" at the bottom
  4. Title the group - (Hint: decide if this is for your wedding, senior, or boudoir clients)
  5. Click "Save"

NOTE: the group should appear in the left panel.

CREATE THE PACKAGE

  1. Click on the group in the left panel
  2. Click "True" if you want to "Allow High Resolution Downloads".  The delivered file will be a copy of your originally uploaded image.
  3. Click "True" if you want to "Allow Web Downloads".  The delivered file will be a downsampled image no wider than 1024 and no taller than 768 pixels.
  4. Click "True" if you want "Allow Ability to Download All" - This gives your clients the options to click Download all in the interface and saves them time.
  5. Set the price for the individual "High Resolution Image"
  6. Set the price for the individual "Web Resolution Image"
  7. Set the individual price of a High resolution image if someone were to to download all of the images (maybe they receive a discount).
  8. Set the individual price of a Web resolution image if someone were to to download all of the image (maybe they receive a discount).
  9. "Download All Price Is Flat Fee" -- Choose whether the download all price is a flat fee for the entire set, or for individual images added to the cart.

    NOTE ABOUT DOWNLOAD ALL:  the download all prices only affect when a client uses download all for the entire set.  It does not apply the download all price to favorites.  The download all under the favorites tab is subject to the original individual pricing.

  10. Click "Save"
