Language > Localization > Currency Pattern

  7. Decide if you want to allow for "International Purchases".  If true, your users will be able to specify their country of origin during checkout.
  8. Select "True" if you want to "Allow Offline Payment" - this means that people will be able to send you a check (or however you choose to collect payment), or you can allow them to process the cart without using a form of instant payment.  This is the only form of payment processing that will allow orders with a cart value of zero to be submitted.

NOTE:  if you are using digital downloads, your clients will not be able to use offline payment if the cart balance is greater than zero.

  9. Select "True" if you want to "Allow PayPal Standard Payment" (Hint: This allows people to pay from their PayPal account instead of a credit card.)

  15. Select "True" to "Allow local pickup" - meaning clients can come pickup their images and not have them shipped.  It will set shipping and handling costs to zero.
  16. Select "True" if you plan to "Allow discount codes".  Discounts get applied to the cart value before shipping, handling, and taxes.
  17. Type in a percentage number in the "Shipping flat rate" - this will make shipping a percentage of the entire sale.
  18. If you want to have a "Shipping Flat Fee", type in a dollar amount to be the flat price for shipping.

  22. Select "True" if your "Handling is taxable" - this will calculate the handling as part of the price before it applies the tax (check with your accountant)

NOTE ON SHIPPING AND HANDLING:  You can use both flat fees and rates together -- one will not cancel or over ride the other.  International and regular handling are also stackable.

If you are using digital downloads, and there are only digital downloads in the cart, shipping and handling is ignored and set to zero.

  23. Decide if you want a "Cart Minimum Value" - this forces a client to order a minimum dollar amount before an order can be placed.
